Michael was born in Elyria, Ohio in 1977. He began painting at the age of 8 with his grandfather, William Connors, in his home studio. His interest in paint and pastels grew throughout high school.
He enrolled at the Columbus College of Art and Design 1995, where he participated in several group shows and one solo exhibition. In December of 1999, he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing.
In 2001, Michael moved to Wooster, Ohio and started a career in Industrial Design. Although he still painted periodically, for the next 17 years his attention was on product design. It wasn’t until July of 2018, that he decided to trade the computer-for-canvas and really focus on his painting.
He has shown his paintings in group shows at the Wayne Center for the Arts Since 2010 and currently participates in juried shows throughout N.E Ohio.
